shopping bag storage solution

messy unfolded packets that fill up your drawers usually

As far as I remember, years back, my aunt showed me this method to help tidy up my clutter in the kitchen drawers; I have since only met two other people that knew of this trick and so there is a need too share it with more (IMO).

This procedure can neatly organise a mess as shown above, into a beauty… read further

Step 1:

(The neatening of the packet that was originally crumbled into your drawer or whatever)

Straighten the bag by opening up the handles into the way it originally looked when it was packaged before your groceries went into the plastic bag at the store.

Step 2:

(The folding process begins)

Folding over at least two times depending on the size of the packet.  You fold equal pieces until the sides of the packet meet up with one another.

Step 3:

(90% completely folded triangle looking packet in hand)

All you should be left with now is the handle of the bag. this is the crucial bit as this is what keeps the samoosa (as I call it)  from reopening itself again and creating your mess all over again.

So as the pictures indicate, I fold the handle to create a arrow type vibe that I can later insert into the pocket of the packet. See why this had to be a picture blog post? It is really hard to explain in pure text! tuck the ends of the handle nice and deep into the corner of the samoosa by lifting a few layers of the packet

Great stress relieving exercise, something to do when you angry at something, especially cool when others are at your place, invite them to join in the fun and that way more hands to help if you have tons of em.

What I meant was… step 2 explains up until the 5th photo and then step 3 goes into explaining how to tuck in the handles. Maybe just explain in step 2 how to fold the samoosa part or add another photo between the 6th and 7th photos showing you folding the triangle up. If that makes sense.

This is a nice how-to. :) Before I had a cloth reusable bag I used to carry a few of these shopping bag samoosas around in my handbag for emergency shopping.
