I have been using the AnyFont WordPress plugin for a while now and I think it is by time I raved about it.
At first I was irritated by the amount of updates that became available but these days I can’t wait for the next update, as each time there is a newer, better, more easier add on to the plugin, which makes it all the more fun to use.
The AnyFont plugin is made by a South African guy named Ryan Peel. This plugin makes an image of your text into whatever font you feel like using at the time.
At this stage, you can customise your blog title, description, widget headers, your post titles and recently added, text within your posts that you write.
So basically, when you are writing up your post, it would normally look something like this:
…but after installing the plugin, you could do things that look something like this:
A nifty, easy to use, FREE, totally awesome plugin and well worth the five stars it is currently rated at.
Never before have I seen a plugin been downloaded 5500 times in under three months!

@Re@PeR Using images instead of plain text is not bad for SEO if it is done correctly.
Just make sure that your “alt” and “title” attributes are set for your images and the search engines will be able to index your text just fine. And if you are replacing headings, as AnyFont mostly does, you can put your image tags inside of a heading tag(ie:”h2″), which will ensure any spiders browsing your site will index your headings correctly using the title attribute from your image. And another bonus of using the heading tag is that your normal visitors will see a proper heading should your image fail to load for some reason.

I wrote my own blog skin which created custom fonts about 6 months ago, it looks nice, but it’s bad for SEO, so I went back to the normal font headings.
